The Sixers after suffering a bad loss against the Boston Celtics responded back with a close win over the Nets 97-94. Despite the Nets missing some starters, the game was a tight one throughout. The Sixers outscored the Nets 29-21 in the fourth to capture their third win of the season. For the Sixers, Lou Williams had a very nice all around game registering 18 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and handed off 6 assist. Andre Iguodala finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assist. Jason Kapano supplied the deep ball game for the Sixers as he went 4-6 from three point land and scored 14 points.

For the Nets, rising big man Brook Lopez got a double double getting 22 points and snatching 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Trenton Hassell also got a double double finishing with 17 points and 12 rebounds. The Sixers next opponent will be the Detroit Pistons on Sunday afternoon at Detroit. Game time will be at 1:00 PM EST.
