The Sixers suffer a loss by the hands of the Detroit Pistons, 88-81. The Sixers were outrebounded 51-39 which proved to be a big factor in the game. Ben Gordan shooting added to the mix and he dropped 23 points filling in for Rip Hamilton. Ben Wallace showed flashes of old as he grabbed 16 rebounds. Charlie Villanueva added 16 points for the Pistons.

For the Sixers, Andre Iguodala led all scores with 24 points.Marreese Speights added 15 points and 6 rebounds off the bench. The Sixers fall to 3-3 and have the red hot Phoenix Suns tonight who come in with a 6-1, the best in the Western Conference. Game time at the Wachovia Center will be 7:00 PM EST.
