The Sixers once again handle the young Sacramento Kings cruising to a 98-86 win. Samuel Dalembert is still giving the Sixers strong play in the middle as he finished with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 3 block shots. Thaddeus Young scored 20 points on an efficient shooting night going 9-14 from the field. Allen Iverson & Louis Williams chipped in with 17 points each. The Sixers finished strong in the fourth quarter which has been their downfall previously this season outscoring the Kings 24-15.
For the Kings, Kevin Martin scored 19 points. Stud rookie Tyreke Evans was held in check getting only 14 points. Evans struggled from the field going 3-13. Next on the schedule for the Sixers will be an afternoon game at Minnesota against the Timberwolves next Monday. Game time will be 3:30 p.m. The Sixers traditionally play afternoon games on the observed Martin Luther King holiday.
