The Sixers were going bucket for bucket in the first quarter holding a 36-35 lead after one. The second quarter was not as potent as the Magic begin to settle in to eventually go up 7 at the half. The third quarter was the clincher as the Magic outscored the Sixers 34-20 to push their way to a blowout win at the Wachovia Center, 126-105. The Magic utilized a balance scoring attack to fend off the Sixers as seven Magic players scored in double figures. The Magic shot 58.4% from the field and a whopping 65.2% from three point territory going 15-23. The way the Magic was shooting from the perimeter, even Dwight Howard may have hit a three if he attempted one. The defense of the Sixers continue to be one of the worst in the league. Local product and former St. Joe Jameer Nelson recorded a double double scoring 22 points and dishing off 10 assist. Vince Carter chipped in with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Dwight Howard had a quiet night getting 14 points and 3 rebounds. Rashard Lewis finished with 19 points.

For the Sixers, rookie Jrue Holiday had his best offensive game as a pro scoring 23 points and handing out 6 assist. Andre Iguodala added 19 points and Thaddeus Young filling in for the injured Elton Brand scored 17 points. Next on the schedule for the Sixers will be a meeting on Wednesday night against the Atlanta Hawks on the road. Game time will be at 7:00 PM EST.
