The Sixers looked to be in control racing to a 29-34 lead after one. A big second quarter by the Pacers seemed to the difference as they outscored the Sixers 30-23 in the second quarter. The Pacers taking a slim halftime lead into the break cam out in the third and outplayed the Sixers to increase their margin which was good enough to secure a 107-96 victory. For the Pacers who were without Danny Granger got a strong offensive night from Brandon Rush who erupted for 24 points. Dahntay Jones was a huge spark off the bench leading all scorers with 25 points, all off the bench. Big man Troy Murphy finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Roy Hibbert also had a double double getting 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
For the Sixers, Jrue Holiday had another good scoring game as he finished with 21 points. Samuel Dalembert was strong down low scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 boards. This is a disappointing loss for the Sixers as they could have took advantage of a team with a worse record and missing their top player. Next up for the Sixers will be a contest against the Charlotte Bobcats at home tomorrow night. Game time will be 7:00 PM EST.
